The task involves defining and exploring the architectural principles established in the previous Project 1 while considering the tropical rainforest setting. Through diagramming, drawings, and model making, the objective is to communicate ideas, thoughts, and design development to create an architectural platform that prioritizes spatial experience, within a maximum volume of 125 m3. The task also emphasizes understanding the impact of materials on crafting architectural space, exploring tactile qualities (texture, grain) and tectonics (assembly) aspects of construction materials. The platform should comprise a minimum of 70% dry construction and a maximum of 30% wet construction, with 30% of fully enclosed space incorporating entry points and fenestration.
